1. Customer Testimonials
Customer testimonials are the ultimate social proof for your business.
The first thing I always do before purchasing a product or service is to check customer reviews. I want to know what other people’s experiences were with the product before I buy it. Video testimonials take this to the next level.
Here is an example of a customer testimonial video that we produced for a local mortgage broker company, Specialised Mortgage Solutions.
The video performed really well on Facebook and provided more credibility to the business by showcasing a real customers experience.
You can tell people how good you and your products/services are until you’re blue in the face but it’s much more believable if a customer is saying these things about you instead.
2. Product Demonstration Videos
Here’s a video from a 5-part series that we are currently producing for G.J. Gardner Homes Orange.
The series is about showcasing the different construction stages from the beginning to the finished house.
This aims to show people what it’s like to build a home with G.J. Gardner.
3. How-To / Tutorial Videos
These videos help your target audience solve a problem they are likely to be having. If you’re a personal trainer you might make a video showing your audience how to get the most out of a workout. If you’re a dentist, you might make a video about how to properly clean your teeth.
Now making these types of videos may at first seem counterproductive. “If I show my customers how to do it themselves, then why would they need me?”
These videos show that you have your customer’s best interests at heart.
They also establish you as an expert – and one they like! Let me put it this way. If you’ve been sharing loads of free, helpful videos that are saving your customers time and money then they are going to love you. Now…when they come across a problem that they can’t solve themselves, who are they going to go to first? YOU!
For example, I create free blog posts showing you how to do the things I sell from web design to video production, but you may not want to do the stuff I teach. These posts do however show that I know what I’m talking about and can likely help you solve your problem.

In this video, Barry teaches you what a comparison rate is and how you can use it to save money on your home loan.
This video received very positive engagement on social media as it had the potential to save each viewer thousands of dollars.
4. Promotional Videos
Steve Jobs once said…
A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.
This is a video we produced for the travel company Himalayan Schoolies to promote their alternative schoolies trips to Nepal.
If high school graduates don’t know that they can travel to another country and experience a new culture instead of just going to the Gold Coast, then they won’t be able to sign up and have the experience of a lifetime!
Himalayan Schoolies realised this and used us to create this promotional video to spread the word about them across social media and on their website.
5. Live Videos
Live video has absolutely taken off in 2017! With all of the major social media platforms now offering live video support including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, more and more people are getting behind this new type of content.
